By accessing and utilizing TagEditor.app (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TagEditor.app offers a suite of browser-based utilities that inspect, edit, and sanitize metadata inside audio, image, video, PDF, document, and ebook files you choose to load. The Service operates on a freemium model: users may process up to 3 files per day free of charge with no account or payment required. Optional TagEditor Pro subscriptions (monthly or annual) unlock unlimited daily file processing, batch operations, and priority support. All file processing runs entirely client-side in browser memory with zero server uploads.

3. User Responsibility & File Ownership

You keep full ownership and intellectual-property rights in every file you open with TagEditor.app. By using the Service you confirm that you have the lawful right and authority to read or modify those files, and you agree not to use the Service to infringe the rights of others, evade lawful discovery obligations, or process content for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WHILE TAGEDITOR.APP STRIVES TO MAINTAIN ACCURATE FILE PARSING AND METADATA SERIALIZATION, WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES THAT PROCESSED FILES WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS, INCOMPATIBILITIES, OR LOSS OF METADATA. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING BACKUP COPIES OF ALL ORIGINAL FILES.

5. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL TAGEDITOR.APP, ITS OPERATORS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA CORRUPTION OR LOSS.

6. Modifications to Service

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice. Where a material change affects these Terms, we will update the Effective Date above; continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
